Vocabulary 1 will show in Athens, Greece at Animation Marathon. It's fun for the film to be starting to show at these smaller, local festivals. Part of the nice thing about being an animator is that animation has real enthusiasts from all over the world and in all walks of life, and so there are a lot of interesting small festivals that show very smart animation. I want to show at more of these. I became an animator because I thought animation can change the way people think. I still believe that. In the dark times coming for the US and the world, I think there is an increased need for art, for new ways of thinking, for joy and self-awareness.
